My computer won't sew to any wireless networks, and the wireless network connection window freezes/won't open/won't respond when I click on it. Everything else works healthful. There's a red X over the wireless icon. It's a Dell running Windows Vista. Any idea what's wrong? Thanks!
Stoppage the wireless switch. Are you sure the "wireless" is even ON!
Nearly all Dells (Mine does) have a lash to disable the radio and conserve power. If you accidentally get it switched OFF you don't have wireless and the icon will show red.
You can find the specifics for your portion.. at Dell, or in your users manual. You can also do a search for
wireless switch on Dell 1234 where 1234 is your copy number.
