So if you can look at my last dubiousness to catch up on the saga I thank you. I am trying to install this driver>>>>> Ethernet driver for 3Com 10/100 Mini PCI combo card for DOS/Windows 95/98/Me/NT4.0/2000/XP>>>>>>
As per admonition in last question. So I burn it to a CDR disk on my dell and then put it into the Thinkpad and run through the wizard. If this is the right driver should it not just detect the network adapter and impassion a concern it on? What gives??? Thank you anyone for your help.

It is purposes not the right driver. Are you sure this is what the card is? Also is it for your particular model of card?
