Petition against Indian Government Websites

I am not persuaded what to do and how to proceed about it. I really don’t have any idea where to complain about it. I am not too sure if someone would listen to me even if I tell them about it. I never used to visit our domination websites. But now a days I have been trying to figure out some information so I need to go online and check for our government websites. You can’t even conceive of. I mean I am not sure whether to laugh or cry on the kind of websites that has been created by government.

I am thinking of getting into a business of creating websites and proffer the services for free. May be web developers in India can come together and try to help our country’s pride. We as citizen of India insufficiency to think about it. I already spoke about it in my previous post that 60% of our government website’s traffic is not from India. Impartial check the difference between an Indian website and American website. People from around the world who wants to visit India try to get data about it. And what they get, a pathetic html page, which is not even up to date. NIC boasts their UI design on their webhosting website. I just laughed for a instant when I read that.

Now why I am writing about it. Well, I am not a developer still I am able to manage a Blog of mine. I understand it does not take much to handle a Wordpress admin panel. But I am talking about professionals hired by Authority of India to do just that. OK, so I call up on all the developers from India willing to work for government for free as I feel they can not afford a pure UI designer and developers at the moment.

Please reply if you are with me. If you agree to the fact that yes our government websites indeed require a facelift. If you are still thoughtful then just visit any of the below mentioned urls.

I paucity to travel from salem to ernakulam. Trains are full. I know a bus is coming from pondicherry going to ernakulam. I longing to reserve my seat with out going to pondy on line. But they are asking credit card. Is there any organisation with whom we can keep money in indian rupees and they will do the online transaction on our behalf?
Similarly buying books from other countries.
Paying for web sites.
